A few weeks back, it was reported that Confidence Man had struck up a friendship with legendary Irish rock group U2.
As if that wasn't already great, the story has just gotten even better with Noel Gallagher and an angry neighbour now thrown into the mix.
It kinda sounds like the start of one of those bad jokes but really, Gallagher has shared a pretty epic story about what happens when you combine them, some tequila and a bit of after dinner dancing.
The Brisbane electro-pop group invited Gallagher and U2's guitarist The Edge over to their house for dinner while the two were in the country for U2's Joshua Tree anniversary tour last month.
"They show us their studio and they're playing us the tunes and tequila is taken and it gets a bit rowdy and there's dancing," said Gallagher in the interview.
"And all of a sudden the neighbours starting banging on the wall right..."

Imagine making a noise complaint against Noel Gallagher and The Edge... whilst wearing your PJs. 😳

(1/2) It was Clarence’s birthday last week and some new friends came over to celebrate. It got late, and we managed to strain an already tenuous relationship with our neighbour Andrew. He came over to complain in his PJ’s... pic.twitter.com/IbmZByc6jv

2/2 It went from “I’m calling the cops” to “can I get a photo” real quick. Sorry Andrew, but if the fellas wanna show you demos you gotta turn that shit up. Can confirm that @U2 and @NoelGallagher know how to party. pic.twitter.com/snO0ZV5c7L
