Pop music icon Chaka Khan has announced a string of Bluesfest sideshows ahead of her appearance at the festival this April.
The new tour dates begin in New Zealand before the I’m Every Woman singer heads back to Australia. Starting the tour at Auckland’s The Civic on Wednesday, 16 April, Chaka Khan will then perform at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Friday, 18 April, Bluesfest Byron Bay on Sunday, 20 April, and the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall on Tuesday, 22 April.
Mastercard cardholders can access the first pre-sale on Monday, 24 February, at 11 am local time. There will also be a Mastercard Preferred Tickets sale on Wednesday, 26 February, at 12 pm local time. Head to the Priceless website for more information on ticketing.
My Live Nation members are next when it comes to accessing pre-sale tickets, with the pre-sale kicking off on Tuesday, 25 February, at 12 pm local time. While Chaka Khan last performed in Australia at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival in 2023, her last tour Down Under was in 2014.

She also leads the Chaka Khan Foundation, which is committed to mental health advocacy and education. In addition to her countless musical accolades, Chaka Khan has received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College of Music.
