The acclaimed Qld duo will hit every state and territory in the wake of their appearance at Bluesfest
Queensland duo Busby Marou are in-demand musos at the moment — recent ARIA #1 achievers for new album Postcards From The Shell House, plus they're newly added to Bluesfest and have been announced for the second annual Sea N Sound festival on the Sunshine Coast — so the time is ripe for them to embark on a national tour.
And when they say "national", they actually mean it: none of this "Brisbane-Sydney-Melbourne-maybe Perth" business that we're all so used to accepting as being worthy of the term.
Instead, the pairing of Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou will play at least one show in each state and territory in the wake of their Bluesfest appearances in April, knocking over a string of headline shows along the way that take them through till the end of June.
They get under way with an outing in Newcastle, at 48 Watt Street, on Thursday 25 May and follow that up with two shows in Sydney and gigs in Bulli, Woden, Launceston, Hobart, Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunny Coast (Sea N Sound), Byron Bay, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Belgrave, Margaret River, Hillarys, Mundaring, Perth and Darwin, where they close out at the city's Entertainment Centre on Friday 30 June.

Before that all kicks off, the guys will also play twice at Bluesfest — on Friday 14 April and Monday 17 April. So there is a wealth of opportunities to see one of the hardest-working, humblest Aussie bands around over the next few months, and you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you let it all pass you by.
Tickets for Busby Marou's Postcards From The Shell House tour are available now. They'll be joined by The Teskey Brothers for the run.
