British metalcore outfit Bullet For My Valentine will return to Australia this October for their largest tour Down Under to date.
Playing their largest shows in Australia is fitting, as this tour is a big one. Celebrating 20 years of their iconic debut album, The Poison, Bullet For My Valentine will bring the fun to audiences with fellow metalcore mainstays While She Sleeps and The Devil Wears Prada.
The tour begins at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Wednesday, 15 October, and continues at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday, 16 October, and wraps up at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday, 18 October.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 30 July, at 9 am local time – you can register here to access those tickets. The general sale begins on Friday, 1 August, at 10 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.
Upon its release in October 2005 (and February 2006 in the US), The Poison catapulted Bullet For My Valentine to international fame.
It contains the successful singles Tears Don’t Fall, 4 Words (To Choke Upon) Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow (What Can I Do), and All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me). Beyond the success of the album – which sold over 1.6 million copies worldwide as of 2018 – the album sparked a new wave of metalcore bands.

Making their Australian debut in 2007, Bullet For My Valentine have regularly visited our shores, opening for the likes of Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold, performing at Soundwave, Big Day Out, and Good Things Festival, and last played headline shows in Australia in 2016.
Remaining close to home, Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck appeared on the Pendulum track Halo in mid-2023, which is set to feature on the Aussie band’s forthcoming album.
