But is JT just out of reach?

Justin Timberlake looks set to hold the top rung of the ARIA Albums Chart this week, with his album The 20/20 Experience likely to rack up three straight weeks, according to midweek figures.

He was challenged last week by Passenger's All The Little Lights (two) and Northlane's Singularity (three) but it's another metalcore outfit that are proving to be the big mover this week. English outfit Bring Me The Horizon dropped their new album Sempiternal last week and are will be the biggest debut in next week's charts.

Back in 2010 their last album There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret debuted at number one, but the did so with just 3,600 scans which at the time was revealed to be the lowest ever sales to score a number one in Australia. This year BMTH will have to do slightly better than that to repeat the feat as last week the top three artists all sold more than that figure. This record has had a stronger lead-in to release than its predecessor though, particularly in Australia where it was triple j's album of the week.

The other heavy outfit that will trouble the scorers this week are Americans Killswitch Engage, whose Disarm The Descent will sell a certain amount of copies straight off the bat thanks to their built-in fanbase.

Passenger's album shouldn't be discounted either, particularly if his chart-topping single continues to be flogged around the country.

At this stage of the week figures for those two records are stronger than other new releases, Depeche Mode's Delta Machine and Tyler, The Creator's Wolf.

The ARIA Singles Chart is currently held by Passenger's Let Her Go, with the English singer/songwriter looking to hold off the same tracks it beat last week. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton's Can't Hold Us, MKTO's Thank You and Nelly's Hey Porsche are likely to make up the top four.
