The Bellingen festival was scheduled for July.

The 2020 edition of beloved NSW event Bello Winter Music has been cancelled.

Set to take over Bellingen from 9-12 July and featuring US songwriter Kristy Lee, New Zealand's Albi & The Wolves, locals Cool Out Sun, Sunnyside, Andy Golledge, Okenyo, Tinpan Orange and more, organisers have cancelled this year’s event due to the “unprecedented circumstances” surrounding COVID-19.

“We are so disappointed for the artists, the workers, the ticket holders and the town of Bellingen," festival director Glenn Wright said.

"Unfortunately we can’t see any way around the cancellation. We did look at the option of postponing but decided that promoting an event in the current health emergency, with no clear end in sight, was not possible in our situation."

Bello Winter Music is expected to return in 2022, with Bellingen Memorial Hall undergoing renovations next year.
