Bello Winter Music Festival will return to the township of Bellingen in 2020, with organisers today revealing event details.

Bringing local, national and international live music and performances, the landmark festival will take over the pubs, halls, cafes and hotels of Bellingen from 9-12 July 2020.

Organisers have also revealed the festival will not be running in 2021 as the Bellingen Memorial Hall undergoes renovations. Bello Winter Music will return to the township in 2022.

The first line-up announcement normally drops around March so keep an eye on theMusic.com.au for all the details as they emerge. This year the festival featured over 70 acts including Tammi Savoy & The Chris Cosello Combo, jazz and world music outfit Senegambian Jazz Band, Melbourne's Lloyd Spiegel, Vaudeville Smash and The Mamas and US group The Montgomery Brothers.

"This is festival of discovery," event programmer Kate Atkinson said of the 2019 event. "So give every act a chance, especially the ones you have never heard of and you may discover your favourite new band.”
