The annual event has pulled together some serious talent from around Australia and beyond to rock AC/DC Lane this May
While so many festivals and other live-music events have come and gone over the years, the humble and modest Cherry Rock — a Melbourne mainstay coming up on its 10th year — is still going strong.
Happening on Sunday 1 May from noon to 9pm at renowned local haunt the Cherry Bar, Cherry Rock 2016 will boast a dozen acts from Australia and beyond to shake AC/DC Lane so hard that seismologists in China will be left scratching their heads.
There will be two stages of goodness and organisers assure punters there will be zero clashes, which is excellent news given the quality of acts on-board for this year's festivities.
German bearded rock gods Kadavar will headline with their own brand of metal mayhem, while other international drawcards coming to town to tear shit up are punk veteran Richie Ramone (touring in April) and rock'n'roll superstars Supersuckers (also touring in April).
