The full lineup has been announced for this year's St Kilda Festival, with plenty of big name locals on the bill for the event which takes place from Saturday 2 February to Sunday 10.

After giving us a taste of what to expect back in December, organisers have released the full program today which includes blues fave Ash Grunwald, acoustic pop band Oh Mercy and rapper Pez. These artists join Bluejuice, Midnight Juggernauts, Kylie Auldist and Thelma Plum on the strong lineup.

An enormous program of local up and comers and some of the country's best indigenous artists have also been added today, as have a selection of DJs who ought to keep the place moving.

2013 looks set to be one of the biggest in the much-loved festival's history. There are more than 150 artists locked in to perform over the nine-day event, which takes place a numerous venues across the Melbourne suburb.

It hasn't been the smoothest sailing for the event of late, with budget and council issues threatening to derail the festival, which began back in 1980.
