Following on from the controversial and heavily debated Australasian Music Industry Directory's AMID Power 50 issue, Street Press Australia – publishers of theMusic.com.au – have announced the next edition of the 'industry bible'.
Issue 49 of the AMID – to be released next month – will look at all facets of the education within the industry and highlight how musicians and budding industry professionals can arm themselves with the proper knowledge to not only break into this challenging but rewarding business, but stay there too. Because knowledge is power.
Speaking to mentors and teachers of the industry, there'll be case studies as well interviews, first-hand experience and more.
This is of course in addition to Australasia's most comprehensive and relevant music industry directory, covering everything from management and labels to printing and infrastructure.
And yes, the Power 50 will return next year to recognise and ruffle feathers of the industry power brokers as it once again ranks the 50 most powerful individuals in the industry.
