This is the first time the show will play outside of the US.
Alanis Morissette's jukebox musical is coming to Australia.
According to Aussie Theatre, the production will make its Australian premiere in September this year through Theatre Royal Sydney. It will be the show's first time playing outside of the US.
Titled Jagged Little Pill and takes tracks from Morissette's 1995 album of the same while tackling current era issues in an original story written by Diablo Cody (Juno, United State Of Tara, Jennifer's Body and more).
The show first launched in 2018 and has since been nominated for 15 Tony awards.
“We are all very excited knowing that our show Jagged Little Pill will be making its way to the Theatre Royal Sydney this year!” said Morissette of the news.

With its release, the Jagged Little Pill album launched Morissette as a global star. It topped charts around the world on release - including Australia, the UK and US - and saw Morissette win an impressive five Grammy Awards, including Album Of The Year.
