Aitch has cancelled his upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand, which was scheduled for next month.

The BRIT Award-winning rapper had locked in shows in support of his latest album, 4, with dates booked in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane.

In a statement to ticketholders posted on Moshtix, Aitch – real name Harrison Armstrong – cited “unforeseen circumstances.” The statement reads:

I’m really sorry to say I have to cancel my upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand due to unforeseen circumstances. I know how many of you had plans around these dates and I hate letting you down. Refund info will be shared by the ticket providers, and I’ll be back as soon as I can. Thank you for the love and understanding.

As Moshtix noted, fans won’t have to do anything following the tour cancellation notice, as tickets will be automatically refunded to punters’ credit cards or PayPal accounts.

The tour would have marked Aitch’s first shows Down Under since he performed at Splendour In The Grass and Spilt Milk festivals in 2023. His last headline tour of Australia took place in 2022.

In October, a dream team of support acts were added to Aitch’s 2026 Australian dates, with Elsy Wameyo and NERVE announced as special guests.

Also in October, it was revealed that Aitch’s shows in Melbourne and Sydney had been moved to new venues. The Melbourne show relocated from Festival Hall to Northcote Theatre, and the Sydney date moved from the Hordern Pavilion to the Roundhouse.

Ahead of the release of 4 in June, Aitch explained, “Four has always been a thing from earlier because my postcode is M40. This will also be my fourth body of work in my book. That’s H2O, Polaris, Close to Home, and now 4. It all just makes sense; I want to give people a piece of where I really come from, a bit of me and where I’m at.”

Of his aims with the album, he added: “I just wanna see people smile. I don’t see enough of that, and it genuinely makes me sad; I want to see that joy again.”
