Family Guy may have scored a crossover episode with The Simpsons, but Seth Macfarlane’s other animated gem, America Dad, have partnered with Adidas to produce their own shoe.
The Stan Smith x Stan Smith is the latest in the Adidas Original range, and while it’s quite a basic design, they’ve smacked Stan Smith’s face on the tongue and given it some green highlights. Simple yet effective.
It’s a shame that resident alien Roger Smith was unable to get a foot in the door to land his own design, but the name of the shoe suggests something to do with former tennis world champion Stan Smith, whose first name is actually Roger. Coincidence? Probably.
Either way, Roger Smith has recently launched his own Instragram account, which seems to be keeping him busy.
The Stan Smith x Stan Smith Adidas Original will be available from adidas.com/originals from October 18. Season 11 of American Dad is currently airing on TBS in the US.
