"Our artists are smashing it here and overseas and we can't wait to see them bringing the joy of live music back to audiences in 2022."

The winners of the 2021 ARIA Awards have been revealed, with Genesis Owusu dominating this year’s event.

After winning big at the J Awards last week, Genesis Owusu has claimed Album Of The Year, Best Hip Hop Release and Best Independent Release for Smiling With No Teeth, an album that also claimed Best Cover Art, thanks to Kofi Ansah and Bailey Howard.

Tonight’s ARIAs were held at Sydney’s iconic Taronga Zoo on Cammeraigal land and broadcast via YouTube and 9Now and featured performances from a number of award winners, including The Kid LAROI, who picked up Best Artist and Best Pop Release for Stay, and Budjerah, who won the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award, which was presented by Ed Sheeran in a special video tribute to the late Michael Gudinski.

Following their Grammy nomination earlier today (alongside The Kid LAROI), RÜFÜS DU SOL were awarded Best Group, as well as Best Dance Release for Alive, while Song Of The Year went to Spacey Jane for their megahit Booster Seat and Best Australian Live Act was taken out by Lime Cordiale.

Other winners throughout the night included Archie Roach, Tkay Maidza, Troy Cassar-Daley, Middle Kids, Crowded House, Tropical Fuck Storm, Bluey (yes, that Bluey) and stacks more, all of which have been listed below.
