The results from this year’s ARIA Awards are in, with local favourites Tame Impala and Sampa The Great taking home multiple gongs during tonight’s ceremony.
The latest album from Tame Impala, The Slow Rush, saw Perth psych-rock juggernaut Kevin Parker win a total of five awards, including Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Rock Album, Engineer of the Year and Producer of the Year, while Sampa The Great won Best Female Artist, Best Hip Hop Release and Best Independent Release, following the release of her acclaimed debut album, The Return.

Other multiple award winners included 2020 ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Archie Roach (Best Male Artist and Best Adult Contemporary Release for recent release Tell Me Why) and Amy Shark (Best Pop Release for Everybody Rise and Best Australian Live Act), while local favourites Lime Cordiale claimed their first-ever ARIA Award, landing Breakthrough Artist.
