Matt Corby Announces 2026 Australian Tour

Acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby is embarking on an expansive national tour this June, today announcing his Tragic Magic run.

Touring in support of his forthcoming album, Tragic Magic, Corby will perform in some of the country’s most-loved theatres and during major events this winter. The shows kick off at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday, 3 June.

From there, Corby will perform at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Thursday, 4 June, Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, 9 June, Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Friday, 12 June, and conclude the run at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday, 14 June.

In between those shows – presented by Frontier Touring – Corby will perform as part of the Gerringong Winter Wine Festival on Saturday, 6 June, and Tumbalong Park for Vivid LIVE on Saturday, 13 June. Head to Matt Corby’s website for more details on those shows.

Joining Corby on his forthcoming run is fellow Australian troubadour, Gretta Ray. Since winning triple j Unearthed High in 2016, Ray has developed a reputation as one of the country’s most relatable storytellers.

She’s toured alongside Maisie Peters, Mumford & Sons, and Gang of Youths, and her albums, Begin To Look Around (2021) and Positive Spin (2023), have won over fans in Australia and worldwide.

Matt Corby will release his new album, Tragic Magic, next Friday (17 April)—the album was listed as one of The Music’s Most Anticipated Australian Albums of 2026. He’s already dropped the singles Burn It Down, Long and Short, and War To Love, each showcasing the refinement in Corby’s sound.

Tragic Magic has been described as a “deeply personal and soul-soaked collection” of music by Corby, highlighting a “new chapter” in his private life and artistry. Throughout the record, he played most of the instruments and co-produced every track.
