The Godfathers of Swedish modern metal, Soilwork, are currently working on a music video for the song "Deliverance Is Mine" to be directed by Ivan Colic (Ex Deo, Type O Negative, Unleashed) and produced by Stanimir Lucik. The track comes off their latest upcoming release The Panic Broadcast. A few still photos from the story board stage of the project are attached. The band recently talked a little bit about the concept behind the new clip: "Our new video 'Deliverance Is Mine' will be the follow-up to 2003's CGI animated masterpiece 'Light The Torch'. We've always loved that clip and it's really exciting to be able to give it a sequel! The song is about people living through others like parasites, a perfect setting for the evil scientist and his humanoid servant to continue their cruel experiments. So far the first drafts look jaw-dropping and we have no doubt that the team over at Rock The Nation will do an amazing job on 'Deliverance Is Mine'!"

Legendary German thrashers, Destruction, have just announced their return to the Nuclear Blast Records fold. Comments mainman Schmier: "Sometimes I really hate the business side of my job, we have been thru some very difficult decisions in the last couple of months. Now after some weeks of hard work, I can proudly announce that Destruction is back with Nuclear Blast Records! We really wanna thank AFM Records for the great co-operation in the last years! We will be working very hard writing and preparing for our third full-length that is untitled as of now. So far the material we have is coming out exactly the way we wanted it to. Byron Bay's In Hearts Wake have posted Studio Diary number 2.The second of the three videos documents their time in Melbourne recording their upcoming 2010 release with producer/engineer Dan Brown (Confession).

Four Year Strong have posted the acoustic version of their song "Wasting Time (Eternal Summer)" onto their myspace page.The song is taken from the deluxe edition of the band's latest album "Enemy Of The World" which will also include a previously unreleased track, "Bad News Bearz", along with completely reworked acoustic versions of “Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday)”, “Find My Way Back”, and “One Step At A Time".The deluxe edition of the album will be available digitally on June 22, 2010.

Twelve months ago Lovers Grave was an idea of something fresh and heavy, something that reflected the way we all feel as people and parts of our own worlds. While the short road from then to present wasn't without its hurdles like lineup changes, the band has remained focused in writing an EP that is a solid addition to heavy Australian music, and essentially a part of themselves."I like to think there is some humility in "DEADCITY", it's a personal record, we didn't just one day, halfway through writing go, "ok, it's going to be personal now", we set out to write something honest to us that we, and hopefully whoever listens to the record, can feel and not just acknowledge" says Dillon, Lovers Grave frontman.

We couldn’t be happier to announce that Joyce Manor, based out of Long Beach, CA/Torrance, CA, have officially joined the 6131 family. While Joyce Manor is clearly different than anything else on 6131 there was no way we could not work with them. After having their demo on constant rotation I finally had the chance to see them live when they opened for Touche Amore, and needless to say, I was floored. With influences ranging from bands like Weezer to Guided By Voices to Screeching Weasel I can’t wait to see where this band goes.
