Perth rockers We Are The Emergency are currently back in the studio after what seems like forever, this time recording with local producer/knob twiddler Dave Parkin (Jebediah, Sugar Army, Karnivool) at the helm.

To co-incide with the band's "Totally Gay Dammit Tour" with Sydney's Gay Paris & Adelaide's God God Dammit Dammit, the bands will be releasing a 3 way split of the same name.

Emmure have spent all of November in New York City writing material for their next album. The band will enter the studio in January with producer/engineer Joey Sturgis (We Came As Romans, The Devil Wears Prada) to begin tracking the effort.

2012 dates for regional indie festival Groovin' The Moo have been announced, with stops confirmed for Bendigo’s Prince of Wales Showground on Saturday May 5th, Townsville’s Murray Sports Complex on Sunday May 6th, Maitland Showground on Saturday May 12th and the University of Canberra on Sunday May 13th. The tour will close out it's run of dates at Bunbury's Hay Park on Saturday May 19th.

Even within metal's endless labelling and over-specific sub-genres, Germany's War From A Harlots Mouth have always been a hard band to pinpoint since their inception in 2005.
