Adelaide metalcore stalwarts Abandon All Hope have announced their decision to end the band via their Facebook page. The band have been a formidable force in the Australian heavy music scene since their inception in 2006, with two well-received album releases and a string of extensive tours with acclaimed international bands to their name.

John K. Samson of The Weakerthans has announced an upcoming solo album called 'Provincial'. The album will be released on January 24th via Epitaph Records, and will feature re-recorded versions of tracks from his two previous EPs as well as several new songs.

Brisbanes own, Dollarosa have just release a statement going noting that the band are will be heading into the studio in the next month to record their debut release with the new line up.

Four Year Strong have never been a band willing to stagnate themselves. The organisers of longstanding New Jersey festival Bamboozle have released part one of a documentary about the annual event. The documentary centres around the 2011 instalment of the festival, with a second segment planned to be released online on December 4th.

Sydney pop punkers Tonight Alive have released a new lyric video for their cover track 'Little Lion Man', originally by Mumford and Sons. The track is taken from the 'Punk Goes Pop 4' compilation album, out now via Fearless Records.

In a recent interview with Alter The Press, English singer-songwriter Frank Turner has revealed that a lineup has formed for his new hardcore project. The band has decided upon ideas for their musical direction, but have yet to select a name for themselves.

After repeated hints of a new signee, longstanding emo, pop punk and post-hardcore label Rise Records have announced the addition of The Early November to their roster, joining the likes of Transit and Man Overboard. The band are currently recording at The Living Room Studio in their hometown of Hammonton, New Jersey, with an album release slated for Autumn 2012. The band reunited in June of this year, performing together for the first time since their four year hiatus on September 10th in Philadelphia. Three additional reunion shows are scheduled for the band in December.
