Adelaide metalcore stalwarts Abandon All Hope have announced their decision to end the band via their Facebook page. The band have been a formidable force in the Australian heavy music scene since their inception in 2006, with two well-received album releases and a string of extensive tours with acclaimed international bands to their name.

"It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the end of Abandon All Hope. More than anything we would like to thank everyone who has ever supported us, by coming to a show, wearing a shirt or picking up a cd. We love you all. We would also like to say a special thankyou to Strike Hard Bookings and New Justice Records for helping us through almost everything (100% good dudes)
We have had some of the best experiences of our lives as a band, we have met some of the best people all across the country and have formed some tight friendships. From fans to bands we can not thank you enough, its because of you that Abandon All Hope has been exactly what it was.
We will be announcing a final show soon for early 2012! xox"
