Perth rockers We Are The Emergency are currently back in the studio after what seems like forever, this time recording with local producer/knob twiddler Dave Parkin (Jebediah, Sugar Army, Karnivool) at the helm.
The band are recording 3 brand new tracks which they plan on releasing early next year, the songs will continue their journey into more mature waters, delving more into the pop-rock catchiness of 2010's Whispers & Fragments, but maintaining the energy that they have become renowned for.

December see's WATE putting on 2 last shows for the year, to celebrate the end of 2011 and also help them raise some much needed funds to help with the new release:
"Tis the season to be jolly and we've had a lot to be jolly about this year! So we've decided to put on a couple last shows for the year to see it off with a bang and thank everyone for what has probably been our most fun year to date! We've gone and got some of our best friends on board for these shows in the form of the awesome Mandalay Victory, the poppunk-tastic Monuments and the ever intense newcomers Foxes! All the proceeds from these shows will be going towards recording some new tunes for everyones ears that we'll hopefully have out early next year, so come down, have a drink, have a laugh, help us raise some bucks and celebrate what has been a truly rad year!!"
