Popular Lancaster metallers August Burns Red have revealed a new song, which is lifted from the band’s upcoming holiday themed album. The song ‘Flurries’ recently premiered on Solid State’s Sound Cloud page.

Californian hardcore heavy-hitters Trash Talk have unveiled their new music video for song ‘F.E.B.N’. The song was released on iTunes earlier in the week, with the video now making its way online.

Popular punk rock outfit Blink 182 are working on a new studio album according to recent news reports.  The band, one of the headliners for Soundwave 2013, hinted at new material this week. Bassist Mark Hoppus recently offered a brief Tweet (see below) before elaborating on his Google + profile: “Sorry, not trying to be mysterious. Yes, this is me opening a new file for a blink-182 song. I had three ideas today, all very different. I wish I knew how to operate Logic better. These guitar tracks sound like Frankenstein’s monster singing dub step….. (sic)”

US rock outfit Stone Sour have released an official lyric video for the first single off their upcoming studio album.

Californian alternative rockers Deftones are pushing forward with the release of their seventh studio album, with the full-length to hit stores on November 13.

Vancouver pop punkers Living With Lions have announced that they will continue on as a four-member band. Vocal duties will pass on to guitarist Chase Brenneman, who will take over from original vocalist Matt Postal. Postal temporarily rejoined the band earlier this year to help them fulfill their touring commitments.

Hardcore punk buzz band OFF! was founded somewhat accidentally in late 2009 by Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides frontman) and the legendary Keith Morris (Black Flag, Circle Jerks), while Coats was producing a Circle Jerks record. The realisation that it wasn’t working out led to the formation of this new project, rounded out by Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) and Mario Rubalcaba (Hot Snakes, Rocket From the Crypt).
