Popular local rockers Dead Letter Circus will enter the recording studio tonight to begin work on a new studio album.

Muse have released the official music video for their song ‘Madness’, taken from their upcoming album, The 2nd Law. The record is due out October 2nd via Warner Bros. Records.

Members of I See Stars have reportedly been arrested in Kansas by Saline County Police for possession and intent to use hallucinogenic drugs. The official charges that have been laid on the members of the band are "Use/possess w/intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body" and "Possession of certain hallucinogenic drugs".

Kvelertak have posted their first studio video update as they are currently recording their new album. The band is once again recording with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at his Godcity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts.

LA-based indie Animal Style Records welcomes New England hardcore outfit Raindance to the roster. The label has announced plans to release the band's 'New Blood' digitally, and on vinyl as a 1-sided 12" limited to 500 copies (100 red, 200 pink, 200 purple) on October 30. The pre-order will launch shortly.

Bury Tomorrow have posted the new music video for their song "Knight Life". The song is taken from the band's latest album "The Union of Crowns", which is out now through Nuclear Blast Records.

New York hardcore outfit This Is Hell are continuing work on their new studio album, with the band updating fans of the progress recently.

Blissful incongruity

Victory Records have announced that they have signed a deal with French progressive metalcore band As They Burn. Emerging from the streets of Paris, France, As They Burn was formed by bassist Ronald Pastor, guitarist Fabio Meschini and drummer Milton Bakech in 2007. Vocalist Kévin Traore, known for his chillingly aggressive vocals, was enlisted shortly thereafter along with guitarist Hoby Arinosy.
