'THEATRE OF THE ABSURD' ft. MAN OF A THOUSAND FACES (single launch)

FRIDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2026 | 7:30PM

Where?

Milk Bar981 Beaufort StreetInglewood WA6052

What?

For one night, The Milk Bar becomes a temporary world where live music, strange visuals and surreal occurrences overlap like a wild dream.

THEATRE OF THE ABSURD seeks to create an unusual and memorable night, drawing inspiration from Dada and Surrealism as readily as it does from Monty Python. Expect the ridiculous, the unexpected and the inexplicable.

You yourself are a work of art, and are encouraged to exhibit accordingly. Throughout the evening, guests will be given opportunities to create, participate, respond and become part of the strange little world unfolding around them.

The legendary TOMAS FORD will serve as host for the evening, tasked with the unenviable responsibility of attempting to control the chaos.

On stage, expect live performances from LOTUS, improvised experimental act MINISTRY OF NONSENSE, and headline act  MAN OF A THOUSAND FACES — the nine-piece sonic shapeshifter who will be launching their new single “Like a Ballerina”, alongside the debut of their 'DOOMSDAY CLOCK' and 'LOVE IS AN ENEMA' music videos.

Visual stimuli will be supplied by AVHD, ensuring your sense's are appropriately overloaded with strange imagery, absurd interruptions and ridiculous propaganda.

There is more to be announced…For now, we invite you to indulge your curiosity, exhibit yourself and embrace the absurdity as we continue assembling what we hope will become your weirdest night out.

Doors open 7:30pm.
