The Beer Footy & Food Festival - North Sydney
SATURDAY 16 MAY 2026 | 12:00PM
What?
The Beer Footy & Food Festival is back at the historic North Sydney for the 3rd year in a row, once again taking place across two days, with every game of the NSWRL round being played at the event across the weekend.Hosting 15+ of the best local brewers and distillers from around the state + the introduction of expanded food and festival hub, the Billy 'Eats' Moore precinct growing out into St Leonards Park. The Beer Mile will return once more, and we are going for the world record attempt! Last year, we had 5,500 fans watch, which is believed to be the second-largest crowd to ever watch a Beer Mile Race. This year, we break the current record at 6,200. Come be a part of history!Introducing The Reggies! Making its debut in 2026 is The Reggies, a dedicated fan section inspired by legendary rugby league character Reg Regan. Think the Ritchies — but with less style and a lot more hair. Fans can purchase a special Reggies Ticket, which includes the obligatory black mullet wig, fake moustache and “Bring Back the Biff” t-shirt, transforming the iconic ground into what organisers hope will become a full-blown mullet army of old-school rugby league fans. All profits from Reggies Tickets will be donated to a local charity. More info on this ticket package coming soon.Amongst all the beer, food and festival antics, there will also be two full days of top-flight rugby league.Saturday – May 16Game 1 – Penrith Panthers v Western Suburbs MagpiesGame 2 – Newcastle Knights v Newtown JetsMain Game – North Sydney Bears v Sydney RoostersSunday – May 17Game 1 – South Sydney Rabbitohs v Manly Sea EaglesGame 2 – New Zealand Warriors v Melbourne StormGame 3 – St George Illawarra Dragons v Parramatta EelsTickets starting from $30 for Saturday and $20 on Sunday.Presale kicks off Tuesday, 17th MarchGA on sale from Thursday, 19th MarchRegister for presale access here - https://arep.co/m/beerfootyfood-goodtimesportscoThis event is brought to you by Good Time Sports Co and North Sydney Bears
