Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & John Butler Announce 2026 Australian Tour

Johnson's forthcoming Australian tour will see him joined by fellow musical icons Ben Harper and John Butler.

Hawaiian singer/songwriter Jack Johnson will be making his return to Australia this year, announcing a batch of forthcoming dates which feature some very special guests.

Announced today, Johnson will be visiting Australia for the first time since his one-off visit to the country for the 2024 edition of Bluesfest, and for his first run of headline dates since 2022.

Launching in celebration of Johnson’s recently-released SURFILMUSIC – which chronicles his journey from surfer to filmmaker and onwards to world-renowned musician – the aptly-titled SURFILMUSIC Tour will see Johnson visit Brisbane's Riverstage, Perth's Kings Park & Botanic Gardens, Sydney's Domain, and Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl this November.

Johnson won’t be going it alone, however, because as he showcases his prowess as one of the finest performers when it comes to taking to the stage with just an acoustic guitar and his voice, he’s bringing the great Ben Harper and John Butler along for the ride.

Additionally, the Sydney show will also be complemented by the addition of the AIR Award-winning and ARIA-nominated Emily Wurramara.

While Harper is himself a renowned guitarist and vocalist with 18 studio albums and three Grammy Awards to his name, so too is Butler one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, with numerous chart-topping records and ARIA Awards peppering the resumé.

Tickets for the forthcoming tour go on sale from 1pm local time on Tuesday, May 12th.

An artist pre-sale runs for 24 hours from 12pm local time on Thursday, May 7th, with registrations required before midnight on Tuesday, May 5th.

Additionally, Australian Mastercard customers will receive access to a pre-sale from 1pm local time on Friday, May 8th, before the Live Nation pre-sale runs for 24 hours from 1pm local time on Monday, May 11th.

Johnson's most recent record, Meet The Moonlight, arrived in June 2024, though he will share new music very soon, with the soundtrack to SURFILMUSIC arriving on May 15th.
