Award-winning Perth alt-folk band Good News Now We Can Eat All The Vampires will be launching their debut album “Everything Is Fine” with a show at Lyric’s Underground on Saturday, October 18 with very special guest Abbe May (solo).  The brainchild of Paul Francis Wood (Red Jezebel, The Ghost Hotel), who also produced the album at his studio Tiny Music Recordings, the band features other members of the aforementioned acts, along with musicians from some of WA’s most beloved and respected outfits including Schvendes and The Jayco Brothers.  The first taste of the album, single ‘The Miner’, took out the folk category for 2024’s WA Song Of The Year contest with the song also receiving overall runner-up honour. The LP’s second single, ‘The Colour Upstream’, was described as “Big cinematic guitar rock - so lush and bright” by triple j’s Steph Hughes. On the live front, the seven-piece has played Wave Rock Weekender, Hidden Treasures, Nannup Festival and WAMfest, plus shows alongside Dallas Frasca, The Kill Devil Hills, Split Seconds and Noah Dillon.“Everything Is Fine” is out Friday, October 10 on Walking Horse Music (MGM).--Venue mode for this show is GA2GA1 = Unreserved mixed seating: Minimum 95% mixed low chairs & high stoolsGA2 = Unreserved limited mixed seating: Minimum 70% mixed low chairs & high stoolsGA3 = Standing mode
