Victoria's Pride Street Party is back for its third year with a stellar line-up.
Organised by Midsumma and the Victorian Government, the free, all-day block party will transform Gertrude and Smith Street precinct into a celebration of Melbourne’s diverse LGBTQIA+ communities. The event features two live music stages, multiple DJ decks, and laneway activations.
Headlining the event on February 11 is First Nations multi-award nominated artist Sycco, who has rapidly climbed the ranks in the electronica scene while showcasing the power of advocacy and representation in empowering queer communities.
Joining Sycco is pop powerhouse and queer icon Kira Puru, known for hits like Tension and Molotov. The line-up also includes JXCKY, the 'Chinese/Cambodian Prince of Dark Pop', along with emerging queer pop artist Tom Nethersole, indie-rock sensation Rin McArdle, and the rap stylings of LION.
The event isn't just about music; it's a visual feast with the Melbourne debut of Still Thriving, a series by Torres Strait and South Sea Islander artist Dylan Mooney. Families can enjoy roving performers, and there’s a special family extravaganza by the multi-award-winning cabaret company, YUMMY.
Running from 11 am to 9 pm, Victoria’s Pride promises non-stop artistic festivities, including music, comedy, guest speakers, circus, drag, and art installations across multiple stages. Attendees can also engage in interactive activities, explore community stalls, and savour local food and beverages.

“Along with our regional program, this street party is another brilliant opportunity for our LGBTQIA+ communities to come together to celebrate pride, identity and visibility.”
Karen Bryant, CEO of Midsumma, added: “Victoria’s Pride, for its third year, will once again shine a spotlight on exceptional LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, and musicians. The entire precinct will activate with non-stop artistic festivities for ten hours in an iconic celebration of pride."
