A Day To RememberA Day To Remember and Papa Roach are joining forces this April to bring their co-headline Big Rock Tour to Australia.
Both bands have provided the soundtrack to teenage angst, heartbreak, gym sessions and long drives alike. For A Day To Remember, the tour comes off the back of their 2025 album, Big Ole Album Vol. 1: a fun, irresistibly catchy record that has been going down a treat at live shows since its release.
Meanwhile, Papa Roach are riding their resurgence, drawing huge crowds of nostalgia-loving millennials along with a new generation who might have recently discovered them. Having just released their latest single, Wake Up Calling, Papa Roach have very much still got it.
On paper, it’s an odd pairing. Papa Roach came up in the late ‘90s nu-metal boom, while A Day To Remember’s roots are mid-2000s pop-punk and hardcore. In The Music’s recent cover story interview with A Day To Remember’s Jeremy McKinnon, he mentioned that he feels the two complement each other more than people might think, and that the fanbases work well combined, with A Day To Remember fans flocking to the floor while Papa Roach fans might fill up the seats.

Co-headline tours can be a curious beast. There’s a delicate balance in making sure neither act outshines the other, and that both fanbases leave satisfied.
While there’s definitely some overlap between the two audiences, A Day To Remember and Papa Roach also have very distinct followings. That makes the question of their setlist a little more interesting.
Will they be leaning into the hits or throwing a few deep cuts in there for the diehards? We’re guessing both. With that in mind, here are the top 10 tracks we’re hoping to hear live on the Big Rock Tour.
A Day To Remember - Lebron
We’re kicking this off with an obvious one. As the lead single from Big Ole Album Vol. 1, Lebron is a lot of fun. It’s punchy, self-aware, and absolutely doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is a big part of Big Ole Album Vol. 1’s charm. This one has been taking off in recent live shows, and I think it’s here to stay.
Papa Roach - Last Resort
Duh. There’s no universe where Papa Roach step onto an Australian stage, or any stage at all, and don’t play their breakout anthem. Released in 2000 on Infest, Last Resort became an era-defining hit and remains one of the most recognisable songs of the nu-metal wave. Even those turning up solely for A Day To Remember will know every word.
A Day To Remember - All My Friends
Another single from Big Ole Album Vol. 1, All My Friends leans fully into that carefree energy, with a bit of a country twang. It’s simple, sure, but that’s exactly why it works—it’s unpretentious and knows its place. The shouty chorus was born for a live setting, the kind of moment where the band can step back from the mic and let the crowd take over.
Papa Roach - Scars
From 2004’s Getting Away With Murder, Scars revealed a more vulnerable side of Papa Roach and expanded their audience, surpassing their original rap-rock crowd. It quickly became one of their biggest hits thanks to its relatability as well as its catchy melody. In a live setting, it provides a much-needed breather from the mayhem without losing intensity.
A Day To Remember - The Downfall of Us All
A Day To Remember have opened with The Downfall of Us All at countless shows over the past decade, and for good reason. That a capella “da-da-da” intro is instantly recognisable and unites a crowd within seconds. It’s got great energy, is relentlessly catchy and serves as the perfect tone-setter for a massive night of live music. Honestly, if you’re hearing this live, it means you’re at an A Day To Remember show, and that alone is reason enough to want it on the setlist.
Papa Roach - Wake Up Calling
As some of their first new music since 2022’s Ego Trip, Wake Up Calling was highly anticipated. Critically well received, it balances the band’s heavier side with a modern rock polish. Given it’s fresh material, it’s almost certain to feature on this tour, and hearing a new track slot seamlessly alongside two decades of hits is always exciting.
A Day To Remember - End Of Me
This one is a slightly less obvious pick, but here’s hoping. End Of Me taps into the band’s softer side, allowing for a slower, acoustic moment mid-set. Being a co-headline, you can’t go too deep into the archives, but this feels like the perfect compromise. It gives fans a breather, showcases McKinnon’s vocals in a different light and serves as a nice emotional moment in a set likely packed with chaos. Every great show needs an iPhone torch moment before heading back into the pit.
Papa Roach - She Loves Me Not
A fan favourite from their early 2000s catalogue, She Loves Me Not doesn’t frequent live sets as often as it once did, which is precisely why it would be such a welcome addition here. Moody, melodic and drenched in early-era nostalgia, it showcases the band’s ability to write hooks without relying purely on aggression. This would be a nice little treat for dedicated Roach fans.
A Day To Remember - Sometimes You’re The Hammer, Sometimes You’re The Nail
Pulled from 2013’s Common Courtesy, this track is often considered by fans as one of the band’s best, yet it hasn’t seen much stage time in recent years. It encapsulates the dynamic of A Day To Remember so well, flowing between heavy breakdowns and growly vocals with a more melodic, softer sound. Common Courtesy is an album that’s becoming well-loved in retrospect, and a nod to it on this tour would feel well-earned.
Papa Roach - Broken Home
Another deep-ish cut from the Infest era, Broken Home channels raw emotion and angst that still resonates decades later. It’s intense, personal and slightly darker than some of their radio staples. While it hasn’t appeared in recent setlists, it remains a fan favourite.
While we can’t be certain what tracks are going to make the cut, you can rest assured that Big Rock Tour is going to be exactly that- a big, joyous rock tour celebration of two bands currently thriving in the scene.
