Lorna ShoreAmerican deathcore band Lorna Shore are returning to Australia for the third time in two years, and they’ve levelled up in a huge way.
The band’s first tour of Australia only took place last February, with tickets selling out within minutes. Then, just months later, they were one of the standout acts at the 2025 Good Things Festival.
Reviewing their first-ever show in Melbourne, The Music’s Rod Whitfield declared, “Tonight, they show us exactly why they sit atop the heap... they pour such heart, soul, effort and wrenching emotion into their set, it takes the breath away.”
Now, they’re coming back in October for their biggest Australian tour to date.
With the tour beginning on Friday, 16 October, at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena and continuing with major shows in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane, followed by a bunch of New Zealand shows taking place in Wellington and Auckland, Lorna Shore are putting on one of the most anticipated tours of the year.
They’re bringing some incredible special guests along for the ride, too: fellow international deathcore merchants Whitechapel and The Acacia Strain.

To celebrate the tour, Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos caught up with The Music and revealed some of his most memorable tour memories, including in Australia.
Will Ramos Recounts His Five Most Memorable Lorna Shore Touring Moments To Date
1. Bloodstock
The first one for sure is going to be playing Bloodstock. And the reason I loved it so much, it was our first time ever playing Bloodstock. We’d always wanted to be there, and the first time that we’re finally going there, our tour manager got fucking wasted somewhere the day before. We couldn’t find him, and then we found him in the grass somewhere.
But we ended up leaving for Bloodstock way too late; we were literally on the premises, still in the bus, flying down a dirt road, and we had 30 minutes to be on stage. We literally got there, set everything up, and pressed play. I think it was 10 minutes; we were on the stage, and we had to press play. And it was one of the craziest shows ever.
2. Summer Breeze
Summer Breeze is going to be another one. I remember I didn’t realise how big the band was at that time; we stepped out on stage in the pouring rain in the middle of the day, and we were one of the first bands. And it was the biggest sea of people I’d ever seen in my entire life up until that point. I was like, “Holy shit, this is fucking crazy”. There was a moment where you go like, “Whoa!!” And that was where everything started to come together; I realised, “You know what? Good things are happening”.
3. Meeting Your Idols
Another moment is the time I met Periphery because that was just dope. They were a bucket list band for me. I’m like, “I love this band so much… and they want to hang out with me?!”. They’re awesome. They’re sweetie pies.
4. Playing In Japan
I also want to say Japan because when we played Japan, it was the tightest room. It was our first time ever playing Japan. It wasn’t a festival either. People are always like, “Oh my God, come to our country!” But I’m like, okay, if we’re playing a show, how many people are going to come to the show? We ended up playing the show, and it was sold out immediately. And the venue was so cramped, I don’t even know how to describe it.
There was the floor, and then there were these metal bars that were dividing the entire floor into thirds. I was like, “Okay, well, what the fuck is going to happen here? This is going to suck ass. Nobody’s going to want to move”. And everybody was still moving in this really small, cramped room; they were circle-pitting back and forth and mosh-pitting in this area that I’m sure was originally like, “Nobody can mosh here”.
It was fucking crazy. Everybody had the best time ever. And I’ve always wanted to go to Japan, so that was an easy one. It’s my favourite place on the entire planet.
5. Exposure To The Australian Sun
Lastly, this one is from Australia, we played a show in a place that felt like Miami, it was fucking hot. It may have been Brisbane? We had a day off, and Adam [De Micco] went to the pool to wait for everybody. I woke up super late, so I was like, “I’m not going to the fucking pool. I had a couple beers, I’m fucked up. I’m not going to the pool”.
Nobody went to the pool except for Adam, and then, I guess, somebody went to the pool eventually, like three hours later. But as Americans, we’ve all really downplayed what we actually think the Australian sun is like. And when Adam came out of the fucking pool area, I was like, “No way. That’s not even possible?!”.
Because Adam tans, he’s a very tan guy. He’s Italian, he’s got the Italian blood, and I only ever see him tan. But he was like a lobster. I was shocked. And that was something I’ll never forget because I was just like, “Oh my god, this sun is no joke out here. This is really painful actually for some people”. I’m glad I’m Puerto Rican; I don’t burn like that. The Australian sun is next level. I didn’t know it was that bad until I saw Adam, and I was like, “Wow, this is actually wild!”
