Finally Returning To Australia, Faithless Are Paying Homage To The Beloved Maxi Jazz While Looking To The Future

PREMIERE: Wrap Yourself Up In The Warmth & Charm Of Duncan Saige's Debut EP 'I'm Saved'

The Perth muso and Stillwater Giants stalwart is embarking on a new chapter in his career.

Margaret River-bred singer-songwriter Henry Clarke, best known for his work with Perth indie-surf-rock outfit Stillwater Giants, is making a statement of intent about the next stage of his career, unveiling I'm Saved, his debut EP under his new stage moniker of Duncan Saige.

Proudly premiering with The Music today, the four-track EP is the result of some serious dedication from the West Australian muso, who handled all the instrumentation heard on the release and took influence from the likes of Kurt Vile, Bob Evans and The Tallest Man On Earth in his one-man-plays-all approach to crafting the record.

Saige was joined by Perth engineer Sam Ford (POND, Abbe May) to lay down the EP's tracks, which feature two singles amid their ranks in its title track and recent single I Notice You, contributing to a tidy little package of deeply warm and sunny indie-pop.

Saige will launch the EP along with a four-piece band with a tour — supported by Luke Fox — kicking off on release day, this Friday, 1 September, at Fremantle's The Odd Fellow Bar.

From there, the band will head to Canning Bridge, Mt Lawley, Mandurah, Margaret River and Bunbury, where they'll wrap up two weeks later at the Prince Of Wales.
