Album title? Set In Stone
Where did the title of your new album come from? It’s a personal metaphor and the title of a duet that I wrote for the album.
How many release do you have now? Two. I released a self-titled EP in 2011.
How long did it take to write/record? Two years. The project started in September 2012.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Due to affordability in the recording space, I was allowed to experiment a whole lot in regards to arrangements and song textures.
What’s your favourite song on it? Bill’s Lost Love.
Will you do anything different next time? I’ll co-arrange the songs with a band before I go into the studio. Less ring-in players and more regular ones.
When and where is your launch/next gig? I’m launching this record at Hibernian House on 18 Oct.
