If this is an exercise in free association it’s a scary thing to behold.

The band’s fifth album kicks off with the truly grating Steel And Blood, perhaps the most Omni-esque song on the album, whereby frontman Jake Snider instantly loses all previously amassed points for being a suave bastard by coming across like a lounge singer trying desperately to incite some kind of carnal reaction from a pool of disinterested soccer mums.

You feel like walking the streets alone late at night, then Die Young houses the jams for you.

This guitar is of all solid wood construction featuring mahogany back, neck and sides; a Sitka Spruce top with spruce bracing; a beautiful African Ebony fingerboard and bridge

It’s fairly light but has a durable feel/appearance. It can be run off battery power - good for busking!

As for tone… well this guy is bright and brittle.

Sterling has undoubtedly achieved its goals with the new S.U.B. series. Low prices, high quality, great looks and killer tones.

The only thing I wish this amp had that it didn’t was greater control over each channel.

Tested the Powerplay system with various instruments at home. I sent a stereo mix from my computer to channels one and two, plugged in an acoustic guitar in channel three and a vocal mic in channel four.
