A smashing set from some legit musicians.

As it is, Sea Of Bright Lights provides a really impressive and ambitious opening statement from a band that looks like they have one very bright future ahead.

The title’s an apt one. Derivative, repetitive and not blessed with any obvious talent, there is still something about Kreay.

It’s LCD music for sticky dancefloors, and if someone’s got to make it at least Ke$ha can keep it self-aware.

The only low point comes in the form of Do The Dada. If you can imagine a Spice Girls take on this style of music, you’ll get the gist of just what is not right.

You get the feeling that this band, and its many well-known and well-documented associates, would be quite happy peddling their wares to friends perched on eskies in the backyards of sharehouses.

Not long enough for something so fun.
