Midnight Juggernauts are back with their new single 'Ballad Of The War Machine'. To celebrate, they'll be launching it on an Australian East Coast tour!

Midnight Juggernauts

It's been a long three years since we've last heard from MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS. Ever since releasing their 2010 LP The Crystal Axis, they seemed to just disappear. Up until now anyway, as they've just released the first taste of what their forthcoming album is to exhibit with their brand new single, 'Ballad Of The War Machine'!

Sounding quite futuristic and almost a little bit like it could be the theme tune to a sci-fi show, 'Ballad Of The War Machine' is a heavily synth based track. Being just over five minutes long, it eventually falls into a mode of repetition, causing it to sound like an anthem for something.

The clip to the track is very unexpected; I initially thought I'd been rick-rolled when I hit the link.

After opening with old looking footage of both Russian streets and the behind the scenes of a news studio, we're soon acquainted with the Juggernauts frolicking around the place in Soviet uniform.

They play around with an assortment of props in a small warehouse, as well as dance around stationary planes and military tanks. All the while, news headlines written in Russian scroll across the bottom of the screen, clearly telling us this is to be watched as a news segment.

To celebrate Midnight Juggernauts' comeback, the new single will be launched as an East Coast tour, with Brisbane duo YesYou supporting.
