Rising indie-rocker stars out of the UK, Catfish and the Bottlemen have released the video for their latest single 'Kathleen'.
Somewhere in the misty recesses of regional London, from within a sleepy seaside town named Llandudno are a band of four young blokes making sweet, hard-hitting tunes. If you hadn't heard of CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN yet, well then prepared to get schooled, my friend.
CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN, armed with their latest explosive single 'Kathleen' are beginning to make some serious waves outside of the UK, and for good reason too. Boasting a solid sound of rock-hard guitars, and swooning vocals, it's no wonder that their latest tune was recently premiered by Triple J's own Linda Marigliano on her Good Nights program.
Hot off the heels of this burst of sound, CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN have gone and done what we are all waiting for - they've dropped the video for 'Kathleen'.

Minimalistic and primal, the video for 'Kathleen' shows the group clad in leather jackets, black sleeves, tight jeans, and the classic UK mop. Strapped with their instruments belting out the tune, the video is drenched in red and blue tinges, as if we should be wearing paper 3D glasses.
The resulting sound is just like the video - garage-like and untreated. CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN lock down a modest yet unchained flow of pure indie-rock, a sound unique yet something that clearly draws inspiration from groups such as ARCTIC MONKEYS, or dare I say DEERHUNTER.
One thing's for sure, these dudes have made quite the entrance with their latest tune into the eyes and ears of international audiences - and it looks like CATFISH along with THE BOTTLEMEN are definitely here to stay. Very keen to hear more, lads!
