With rumours of her moving on from Keith Urban littering the tabloids, Nicole Kidman has stepped out in the classiest way possible, lending her star power to Troye Sivan’s epic new single that dropped today.

After sharing teasers on social media over the past week, Troye Sivan has revealed that he’s crafted a new album, She’s The Best, which is scheduled for release on Friday, 9 October. The Australian pop star also unveiled the album cover, which fans are already saying is iconic. The album can be pre-ordered/pre-saved here.

At 2 pm, the video for the song dropped, revealing a stunning Nicole Kidman getting close to Sivan in a sexy clip full of colour and movement, perfect for 2026.

She’s The Best is the follow-up to Sivan’s 2023 album, Something To Give Each Other, the record that marked the long-awaited successor to 2018’s Bloom.

Something To Give Each Other was Sivan’s first album to top the ARIA Charts and received plenty of critical acclaim. The record was nominated for Australian Album of the Year at the 2023 J Awards and for the 2023 Australian Music Prize.

Meanwhile, the single Rush was nominated for Best Dance Pop Recording and Best Music Video at the 66th Grammy Awards, and Got Me Started was nominated a year later for Best Dance Pop Recording.

He toured in support of the album—a solo headline tour, and a co-headline run with Charli xcx, who had her mainstream breakthrough following the release of her 2024 album, Brat.

Earlier this year, Sivan celebrated the 10th anniversary of his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood. The 10th-anniversary release includes two additional tracks that are deeply loved by fans.

The first is Strawberries & Cigarettes, a standalone hit that’s amassed over one billion streams. Originally written in the Blue Neighbourhood era, the song found fame after being included in the 2018 film and its accompanying soundtrack, Love, Simon.

The second song is Swimming Pools, which was originally made available on a retail, physical-exclusive version of Blue Neighbourhood. The track has since been added to the album’s track list on digital streaming services.

Sivan last toured Australia in November 2024. Reviewing his concert at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, The Music’s Sam Mead declared, “It’s a sweaty rave of hits culminating in a messy Thursday night on the hills of Melbourne and a crowd practically begging for more.”
