Album Review: Sarah Blasko - I Awake: Live At Sydney Opera House

Love particularly to Not Yet and All I Want.

More Sarah Blasko Sarah Blasko

Seeing Sarah Blasko live has become quite the local music thing. All poise and daggy dancing, she gets lost just enough to be captivating. With this recording there's obviously not as much dancing but the dynamics remain. Performed with the Sydney International Orchestra, complete with squeaks, squawks and little chatty bits (although they don't always make much sense - the note to the 'lone person singing in the crowd' at the end of Bury This, for example), you can feel the warmth. Love particularly to Not Yet and All I Want.
