Album Review: Patient Little Sister - Bit By Bit

StarStarStarHalf Star

"A pretty solid EP."

Patient Little Sister is back with new songs, new members and a richer sound.

The band’s trademark brother-sister dynamic is stronger than ever. Listeners are transfixed by Eliza Rogers’ wispy vocals early on in You Light My Way, before brother James’ punchy harmonies kick in. The newly appointed rhythm section seems right at home too, adding punctuation and bounce to each track. Overall, Bit By Bit is full of mesmerising harmonies, serious fiddle skills and an all ‘round feel-good vibe – and that makes for a pretty solid EP.
