Masterclass 2: Flames Of The Forge

"The ludicrous journey of two men trying to form a human bond amid global catastrophe. They are underhanded, deceptive, sincere and silly."

Ready yourself for an imagination overhaul as the world's best actor, Gareth Oliver Davies, prepares to give you his Masterclass. This is a special, once in a lifetime chance to learn the key skills of a true great, someone who literally saved the world with his acting powers. And where would we be without Charlie Garber, his most complex and well-created character, brought back to life.

This two-hander follows the ludicrous journey of two men trying to form a human bond amid global catastrophe. They are underhanded, deceptive, sincere and silly. It is a subversive take on the 'epic' that tests human relationships over eons.

This show is preoccupied with comedy. It's zany to the ninth degree. It's heartbreakingly funny. The humour can be attributed very much to the natural manner and dedication of the actors to their roles. Their portrayal of each utterly alien character with such naturalistic verve enabled the performance to become something truly respectable.
