There is nothing quite like partying on New Year’s Eve. And all the best parties feature hours and hours of jigging along to dazzling live music.
Many Australians would agree that the best way to experience the changeover from an old year to a new one is in the throes of a spectacular music festival. Luckily, there are plenty of music festivals to choose from at this time of year Down Under.
Though the beloved NYE On The Hill is taking a well-deserved break this year, there is still something for lovers of all genres and vibes, from Beyond The Valley to Lost Paradise, from Wildlands to the Woodford Folk Festival to the Great Escape.
Scheme your party outfit, decide what festival works best for you, and prepare accordingly, by browsing through our specially curated New Year’s Eve Festival Guide for 2025.
