Ultra Music Festival 'Phase One' Lineup Announced

Ultra Music Festival have delivered EDM fans a pre-Christmas gift, dropping the first eight acts on next April’s lineup. The festival will hit the Broadwater Parklands on the Gold Coast and Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne with The Chainsmokers and DJ Snake at the top of the bill.

Darren Styles, MaRLo and Oliver Heldens will also be playing both shows, while Miss Monique, Zedd and Nico Moreno will also be at the Melbourne event.

The 2025 events both sold out, with strong demand expected for 2026. Social media reaction to the announcement has been soft, with many comparing the first announcement unfavourably with last year’s headliners Martin Garrix and Axwell, but others holding out strong hope for a stronger ‘phase two’ announcement.

How Many People Attend Ultra Music Festival?

With over 40,000 punters attending the shows in previous years, the festival is one of the most beloved events on the EDM calendar. The event was voted #88 EDM festival in the world by DJ Mag’s readers poll last year (it’s parent Ultra Music Festival US made it all the way to #2, beaten to the top spot by Belgium’s Tomorrowland). It was Australia’s second highest entry on the list with Beyond The Valley just beating it at #82. Pitch Music and Arts Festival also made the list at #96 after returning better than ever this year after a rocky 2024 event.

Pre-sale for Ultra have already sold out with tier 1 tickets now available for $175 on the Gold Coast or $185 for the Melbourne event (remember to add around another ten bucks for fees). If you’re looking for VIP, they’ll set you back $300 for Gold Coast or $330 for Melbourne.

The VIP experience will get you entry to the exclusive viewing deck, private bars, VIP toilets, phone charging station, dedicated entry lane and a lanyard and trucker cap. Double it again ($550 Gold Coast, $650 Melbourne) and you’ll also have your food and bev included.
