Channel Nine’s Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight returns to our screens (and Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl) this Christmas Eve.
Starring a roster of Australia’s favourite vocalists, spanning country, pop, Broadway, and children’s favourites, the event is packed with highlights for those getting Christmassy.
Confirmed performers include American country music sensation Lainey Wilson, who takes to the stage ahead of her Whirlwind World Tour, touching down in arenas across the country in February 2026. According to TV Tonight, Wilson will join host David Campbell for a “special performance.”
Keeping the country music theme going is Australian singer Morgan Evans, who’s a Carols by Candlelight exclusive and will honour Paul Kelly with How To Make Gravy.
In addition to the acts mentioned above, Broadway and television star Andy Karl will make his Carols debut alongside his fiancée, Elise McCann, performing at the event, which is also set to feature Dami Im, Casey Donovan, the cast of MJ The Musical, singer-songwriter Michael Paynter, and children’s favourite Emma Memma.
Meanwhile, Paulini will perform with Tim Campbell, and the self-proclaimed “Kings of Christmas”, Rob Mills and Bobby Fox, will return to the stage. Viewers will also be able to watch Carols’ veterans, Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino, David Hobson and Denis Walter.
