L D R U apparently lied when he saidno more remixes because he's just released an awesome new one of Brood's track 'Bridges'.
BROODS are one of the most in demand Australasian duos at the moment. The New Zealand siblings have been receiving plenty of recognition for their track 'Bridges' and there have been a fair few remixes of the single beginning to emerge including HIGH HOOPS rework which showcases even more talent from NZ.
L D R U is the latest to tackle the soft track and with his remix history, it's bound to be great. He is one of Australia's favourite producers, mostly because his bright melodies reflect a certain piece of our lives that we love to think about. With tracks like 'The Tropics' reminding us of our lush rain forests and his remix of MIAMI HORROR's 'Real Slow' reeling in the summer beach vibes, L D R U has got something we just can't but love.
'Bridges' was the breakout track for BROODS earlier this year and to have L D R U remix you so early in your career definitely means you've got something going for you. The original is a soft, sweet track full of light piano samples and a deep beat that thumps alongside synths that soar over the melody. The remix that L D R U has put together mixes thundering drums with the original light vocals, which we now know is a winning combination.

With swooping synths that slowly build until they reach a stellar climax, L D R U has created a remix that is slightly unlike his regular work, but still has hints of it here and there. The steady hand claps that open the track play in time with the deep marimba beat and with swooping synths bubbling underneath all this, you hear the core of the track beginning to break through. The climax comes into play later in the track and it mixes all of the elements together in blissful harmony. Each element works with the other creating a nice balance that ends 'bridges' on a high.
L D R U is a master and his remix of 'Bridges' will no doubt wow listeners over and over again.
