SOFT CENTRE is officially the first-ever Australian festival to partner with a global platform, receiving a significant endorsement from the industry.

C.O.F.F.I.N., Robert Baxter, Last Quokka, Mariae Cassandra, and Worm Girlz are just some of the Aussie artists joining the SXSW Sydney line-up.

“We made history together in those walls, now, the heartbeat returns and the story continues," teased Untitled Group.

"I want my sound to be up there with some of the best doing it, and I'm so excited to be able to learn from some of the best doing it in the UK," explains Agbinya.

“At a time when the industry is doing it tough, we’re proud to back our live music venues, artists and workers through a community-curated festival that champions Yarra’s live music scene."

Kamasi Washington simultaneously conforms to traditional ideas of the jazz idiom and moves it forward in the most exciting way possible.

Amping up the teasing, the festival shared a cheeky Instagram Story of a payphone ringing and a sign-up link.

"The artists we’ve selected reflect the incredible depth of talent in Australia," said BIGSOUND Co-Programmers Casey O’Shaughnessy and Katie Rynne.
