Tame ImpalaThe tour everyone has been waiting for is finally on its way.
Following the release of last year’s chart-topping album Deadbeat and recent hit single Dracula landing at #3 on this year’s triple j Hottest 100, Tame Impala – the beloved project of Kevin Parker – is finally returning to Australia. Today, Parker has announced four huge arena shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth this October.
Initially teased by Frontier Touring a fortnight ago, this tour has been a long time coming, marking the first time Tame Impala have toured Australia since October 2022.
With a new six-piece touring band, the Tame Impala tour begins at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 10 October. It continues at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 14 October, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday, 19 October, and concludes at Perth’s RAC Arena on Saturday, 24 October.
Joining Tame Impala on all dates is one of the hottest names in Australian music: electronic artist, songwriter, and producer Ninajirachi.
Last year was the producer’s – born Nina Wilson – biggest year to date, taking home the 2025 Australian Music Prize, NSW Music Prize, two J Awards (including Album of the Year), and three ARIA Awards for her debut album, I Love My Computer.

The latest Tame Impala album, Deadbeat, was released in late 2025. Preceded by the singles End of Summer, Loser, and Dracula, the album was primarily crafted between Fremantle and Parker’s studio, Wave House, in Injidup, WA. Earlier this month, Parker won his second Grammy Award – for Best Dance/Electronic Recording – for End of Summer.
Deadbeat finds Parker embracing spontaneity, minimalism, and fun, while experimenting with a more playful vocal range. The record contains a collection of club-psych explorations amid Parker’s most direct, brain-wormy songwriting to date. Deeply inspired by Australian bush doof culture and the local music scene in WA, Tame Impala has evolved into a futuristic, primitive rave act.
