'Home' Pt. 1 by Naomi Craigs
The first in a new series from photographer Naomi Craigs.. Naomi Craigs is a Western Australia-based photographer who we've recently completely fallen in love with, and she's just kicked off a new series called 'Home'. The very best news relating to this news is that she's totally happy for us to feature it on the blog, so we're pretty damn excited to follow the series as it progresses. But enough of our jibber jabber, we'll let her explain - and then you enjoy - Part 1, featuring Kerri. "'Home' mini series is a little experimentation project of mine. I wanted to capture more of the 'little' moments between a photographer and a subject, and further explore a more raw, intimate style of photography. All for fun. Enjoy. x" We can't implore you enough to check out more of Naomi's WEBSITE and/or TUMBLR, and check back soon for Part 2.

Who is Flerm?
The Top 8 candidates for who is possibly behind that loveable rascal of purposely-poor paint skills, Flerm.. I remember when Flerm first began. Splendour In The Grass weekend was just getting started, we were having a few quiet beverages, and I showed all my friends this new FB page called Flerm. And we LOL’d. Oh how we LOL’d. It was much internet. The muchest we could handle. Or is that a doge thing? They’re all kinda blending together now. It continued on in humorous fashion through the latter half of 2013, mostly focusing on the up-and-coming “Australian Sound” scene, producing hilariously bad drawings of such luminaries as Erlersen Wundalen, Erscer Ker Sin and Chert Ferker. He even made really funny edits of Flume tracks with too many cowbells. It was great. For a while it almost became a right of passage for those young producers - you got Flerm'd, you'd made it. And pretty much ever since I've been wondering who the fuck is behind the one you know as Flerm. Especially in more rec

Sable - Feels So Good (Official Video)
Eyegasms for your eargasms.. With Sable - Feels So Good recently clocking up over 100,000 plays on Soundcloud, we figured it was time it received a visual accompaniment, and our very first Pilerats Records release gone and done just that with a video clip that premiered over at RunTheTrap THIS MORNING. The clip itself does the very best it can in capturing the whizz fizz vs cola vibes that Jersey bounce all over the hyperactive sunbeam-synth shreds, some of which are surely going to be found on his 5-track EP, due for release on February 14th. Until then though, enjoy the clip, and head HERE for more info on the boy wonder himself, including his upcoming tour dates on the recently-announced NLV Presents national tour and supporting Wave Racer.

Spirit of Akasha - Andrew Wessen (Grouplove)
We get all stoked out with Andrew from Grouplove about surfing and being involved in Spirit of Akasha.. Andrew Wessen is the guitarist from the band Grouplove, a mad surfer and a lord. He is currently touring around Australia with Big Day Out and surfing as much as he can. I caught up with him recently to talk about the band's involvement in Albe Falzon's new film Spirit of Akasha, what Morning of the Earth means to him and his love affiar with surfing. You’re on the Big Day Out tour at the moment, how’s it all going? It’s been unreal. In the history of our band touring I have never been on a festival tour or a general tour where the bands and people have been so good. The camaraderie has been great with all the bands and artists, everyone has been hanging out and getting wild each night. On a personal level Australia is the dreamland for me and has been since I came here for the first time as a 19 year old. The surf is insane, I’ve already surfed a bunch of world-class waves since I’v

Spirit of Akasha - Kye Fitzgerald
We chat with surf lord Kye Fitzgerald about being involved in the Spirit of Akasha.. For those that don’t know, Kye Fitzgerald hails from surfing royalty. His father Terry has been responsible for some of the most iconic boards of the 70’s and a great surfer. While his brother Joel has also made a name for himself shaping boards and slaying waves, be sure to check out his latest colab with Deus. But we are here to talk about Kye. Arguably one of, if not the most talented and stylish chaps to ever step foot on a single fin. His flair and energy for surfing is evident when you simply see footage of him or when you ask him a question about his boards and it's all done with a sincere and humble sense of himself. He is being featured in Albe Falzon and Andrew Kidman’s latest film Spirit of Akasha that celebrates Morning of the Earth and it’s lasting legacy. We caught up with Kye to talk about the film, his experience, the music and his boards. You're obviously a professional surfer who is m
