Frank doesn’t really drink, so I guess the rest of the band were drunk and Frank was sober when we met him at a party some time after that. What kinda tunes we talkin’? I guess they are pop-rock? Fresh fire from the Adelaide producer.. Adelaide producer/DJ Motez is, to coin Zoolander but in an updated internet fashion, saahhhhh hot right now. His Madison Avenue REMIX has been dominating clubs and charts for a few weeks now, and he's just been over in the US chilling with his Sweat It Out pals and generally being awesome. This Friday sees the release of his next original EP, Promise Me, featuring the title track plus B-side Bodyrock, it's all killer. Promise Me is the perfect mash of '90s piano house and bassy house bang, while Bodyrock is like its tougher bro packing garage vibes and keeping those singature Motez vibes. We're very excited today to announce WA young gun Sable has just announced his first national tour, taking the Feels So Good EP around the country this April/May for a run of dates that is probably coming to a town/city near you. Fresh, free new music from a duo we don't know much about.. We can't tell you much about a new duo called Klo. We couldn't even tell you where they're from. A little bit of research reveals they are cousins. So there's that. So I guess that leaves us to focus on the music, and put simply - it's beautiful. Super chilled beats and sultry, smooth vocals are at this point the only words starting with 's' that I can apply to it, but I'll think of some more. We catch up with Atlanta's favourite punks Black Lips for a chat about their new record.. A new video clip to go with a heap of tour dates for the Melbourne disco enthusiasts.. Whoever out there was saddened when Azari & III promptly stopped doing Azari & III last year need no longer worry - Melbourne duo Client Liaison are bringing the '80s pastiche and bringing it hard. The thing that separates good music from novelty is earnestness though, and it's something Client Liaison have in spades - you need to believe they're vibing the tunes they are making. And it's been pretty obvious from the word go Client Liaison do, and it is glorious. They've just released a new video for the single That's Desire, and it's super fun and the song is a cracker. It's actually a B-side to earlier single Free Of Fear, which itself has just received the remix treatment from Com Truise and Knightlife.
