Video: Lisa Mitchell - Wah-Ha + BTS Photo Exclusive
Watch Lisa Mitchell be pretty and charming on holiday in the snow.. Lisa Mitchell’s latest track Wah-Ha was written on the back of a shopping receipt while on a holiday. She's just released a dreamy little video to accompany it, and it came about in equally as casual a way: Mitchell and her mate Kirrilee went up to the snow in Falls Creek and stayed in an eccentric lodge filled with stuffed dead animals and “possibly the largest collection of Christmas-themed Austrian souvenirs in Australia”, tells Mitchell in her video description. There, the two messed around filming each other, as you do on holidays. However, watching the footage later, Lisa found the combination of intensely blue skies, heavenly light and alpine wilderness looked pretty damn fine on film; and would make the perfect accompaniment to her new track: a chilled, lush folk number whose depths we first fell into back in September. Seeing as though the delicacy in Lisa's voice is akin to that of a snowflake, the clip's loc

Video - Rustie feat. Redinho - Lost
Plantlife, light-beams and topless women. Nailed it, Rustie.. That devilish wee Scot rave-maker Rustie (whose about to tour the US taking in dates with Danny Brown and Oneohtrix Point Never, the lucky lad) brought buzzing producer Redinho onboard for his track Lost, his second single from the brilliant Green Language. Director Adam Hummel’s just turned out this video clip for the track, which he describes as: “the real-world, physical iteration of his 3D video work for Rustie’s new AV live show.”  The clip depicts a bunch of intersecting illuminated light sculptures, that flash on and off in time to the robotic but heartfelt lyrics (“I’d…be…lost…with..out…you..”), interspersed with plantlife and subtle hints and shadowy silhoutttes of topless, tattooed women. It’s the perfect visual accompaniment for the soulful ambience of the track:  Rustie’s headed our way for dates around the country at Laneway Festival next year. Green Language is available now on Warp.
