Premiere: Danny T - Let Me Go
A dash of '90s house big with a pair of big ol' swingin' balls.. Following the release of his Take Me EP last year (listen HERE), one of Australia's long-standing key figures in a currently booming house scene, Danny T is back with "complete burner" (Golden Features, 2015) in Let Me Go. And after you have a listen to the stream below you will concur with the likes of Bag Raiders, Sinden, RUFUS and more, who've all thrown their support behind the mo in the business. I even had the pleasure of playing it out about a week ago and can confirm all the ladies in the front row lost their minds. One even said to me: "My boyfriend DJs in Sydney and he would probably think you're pretty good", after I played it. True story. Let Me Go takes all the pleasure points of '90s house, before updating it with plenty of that bass-house sound the legends at Sweat It Out! have been rinsing for a while now. And given Danny T is their man on their ground, it's no wonder he's leading the charge. Take a listen

New Music: Lilt - Don't Tell Me
Perth electronic trio release beautiful new track, Don’t Tell Me.. Following the release of their EP Swim back in 2013, Perth-based electronic trio Lilt (fronted by the sensational Louise Penman) have returned to the centre stage with a beautiful new single, released independently earlier this week. Don’t Tell Me, the duo's first release since their Coming Down single ten months ago, is remarkable. Swelling synth work, crystalline, soft vocals and bouncing percussion build and build until it seemingly explodes at the chorus, dense with menacing drums. Accompanied by a pretty cool video clip and also available for free download (both below), Don’t Tell Me is just the start of a massive 2015 for the group and we are pretty damn excited. New Music: Stwo - Eden (MUTO Remix)
Fast-rising Australian MUTO producer drops a fiery new remix.. Australian-based producer Miles Davidson, better known under his beat-making moniker MUTO, is no newbie when it comes to remixes. His recent remix of Justin Timberlake’s What Goes Around Comes Around has clocked over two million plays on his Soundcloud (we covered it in our 5 Under 500 a lil while BACK), and his remixes of Azealia Banks’ Chasing Time and his latest touch-up, on Stwo’s slow-burning Eden, are just as flame-emoji worthy. Eden, Parisian producer Stwo’s latest tune, is amazing in its own right, with soaring synth work, march band-like percussion and impressive vocal loops combining to create an absolutely impressive slow-burning jam. However, MUTO’s remix does the impossible by taking it to the next level, adding a deep, yet simple, breakdown packed to the brim with heaving bass and percussion loops, and goes to a few different places whilst remaining a certain flow that is, put simply, bloody great: Follow MUT

Pilerats.com Presents: Double Of The Dead
We're hosting a zombie movie double at Rooftop Movies!. A somewhat well known fact about Pilerats.com's editor is that he thoroughly enjoys zombie films, and has a pretty stupid collection of them at his house. So when the opportunity arose to host a zombie movie double at Perth's Rooftop Movies, it was a...no-brainer. In a series of unholy alignments, we've linked up with the Perth Underground Film Festival for a killer night of cult flicks, gruesome dress-ups and deadly dancefloor tunes on Black Friday 13th of February, featuring screenings of Doc Of The Dead, and Day Of The Dead. DOC OF THE DEAD: Starring Shaun of The Dead’s Simon Pegg, World War Z author Max Brooks, and legendary director George A. Romero among others, it's a definitive zombie culture documentary, from the creative team behind the hit doco The People v George Lucas. Get stuck into a rich dialogue about zombies in popular culture with zombie experts and celebrities, YouTubers and indie filmmakers. Watch the trailer:

Video: Flying Lotus - Coronus, The Terminator
A dark and brooding affair from the Laneway-bound producer.. Is there an artist whose visual and audio aesthetic is more considered than Flying Lotus? The dude's output feels so meticulously crafted he almost feels like a higher being. Alright maybe we're being a little hyperbolic with those kind of statements, but whatever, he's one of the world's most exciting electronic artists, and any new release is met with feverish anticipation around these parts. Last year's You're Dead! album was another beautiful melding of the audio and the visual, and we're looking forward to seeing his Layer 3 show in Australia this month at the Red Bull Music Academy x Future Classic Stage at St Jerome's Laneway Festival. What all of this jibber jabber leads into is another stellar video clip, this time for Coronus, The Terminator - a dark and menacingly cinematic clip for one of You're Dead!'s highlights: Follow Flying Lotus: FACEBOOK / WEBSITE
